Hey guys,
As we move closer to November we really get reminded that uncle Abe is moving hse.. =(
Anyway we're still meeting at the same place, same time this saturday. Persons on duty are: Joshua with worship and Gabriel with word. Oh! Gabby has CD day parade.. Hmm.. Can I assign Joanne to take over first? Gab will do ur work for next week.. =)
The word will be on "John 23", which essentially means you choose between:
John 20:1 - 20:9 The Empty Tomb
John 20:10 - 20:18 Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene
John 20:19 - 20:31 Jesus Appears to His Disciples; Jesus Appears to Thomas
Share on that passage please.. If you can't please find a replacement.. =)
After this will be the LAST sharing on book of John, then we'll move on to the book of Ecclesiastes (which Grace has shared chapter 1 already)..
For all you peeps wondering why we're not @ church.. It's cuz PS Kenny forgot abt the combined thing.. Haha..

We were discussing about whether the king was right to remove the queen in a fit of anger even though she made him lose face.. Our conclusion?
Guys generally like girls to let them take the lead, and if you feel that the guy is not taking enough of a lead, maybe the girl can fan xing to see if she is taking too much a lead. Haha..

Reminder!! We're having cell @ Uncle Abe's at 2 pm this Saturday, Jasmine to prepare worship and Grace to do word.. Grace you're doing word because Charles covered for you the other time! =)
Do come and keep in touch with one another and be pillars of strength to one another.. Let us learn to listen to our brothers and sisters' hectic lives..

It's nice to see so many people using the blog, and it gets heartening!! Let's pray for one another.. If you have something you wan us to pray about, let us know on this blog! Weijian it's good to hear from you! Hope everything's fine there! Haven't got the time to look at the photos but will do so after i move house the second time.. =)
On a separate note, Yu Zhi is leaving on 9/9 sunday for training, 1/2 yr i think, then the rest is variable and dependent, depending on how God leads him, so when you see him, wish him Godspeed! Didn't manage to organise a lunch due to him being busy!

I will away from 5 - 10 Sep, caving in Mulu, Sarawak, East Malaysia.
Will be mice for caving retreat which Ps Simon & Rinda r exploring.
